Northstar software freezes or locks up during splash screen
If the client reports that the Northstar software is not loading properly, but stays at the splash screen "Another Quality Product from JTECH Medical", this is likely due to an unknown problem with the Microsoft SQL database engine. The exact cause is unknown.
The workaround solution is
1) Uninstall the current version of Northstar
3) Run the older version one time (may take longer than usual to load, but should be successful)
4) Install/update to the current version of Northstar
Run the program again and it should be functional.
